# Akchhat's Security Writeups

Independent Security Researcher

I specialize in offensive Active Directory security, adversary simulation, and hands-on penetration testing. My writeups aren't step-by-step command dumps, they cover the reasoning behind each move, what's actually happening under the hood, and why it matters from a defensive perspective too.

Most of what I know didn't come from a syllabus. It came from building labs, breaking them, rebuilding them, and doing it again.

### What I Work On

**Active Directory Offensive Security** This is where most of my time goes. Full attack chains, enumeration, Kerberos abuse, delegation attacks, ACL exploitation, ADCS ESC chains, forest trust abuse. I've run these paths across home labs and practice environments enough times that the methodology is second nature, not a checklist.

**Red Team Operations** Adversary simulation built around OPSEC & C2 infrastructure, payload staging, EDR evasion, lateral movement that doesn't immediately announce itself. I work across Cobalt Strike, Adaptix, and Sliver depending on what the situation calls for.

**Security Research** Vulnerability analysis and exploit methodology, written for people who want to understand what's actually broken and why, not just run a PoC and move on.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://akchhat.gitbook.io/dev/akchhats-security-writeups.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
